The Ailing Queen
"Meanwhile, back in Ginastovia, Queen Helen had finished her evening meal and retired to her bedroom. Not long after, a terrible feeling suddenly came over her.
“Gertrude… Gertrude! Please summon the family doctor.”
Her voice was weak, barely more than a whisper.
Before anyone could reach her, Queen Helen collapsed to the floor.
Within seconds, Gertrude rushed into the Queen’s bedroom.
“Your Grace? The doctor is on his way.”
Then she saw her.
Queen Helen lay motionless on the floor.
“Your Grace!”
Gertrude froze. For one terrifying moment, she feared the Queen was dead.
She dropped beside her and desperately searched for a pulse.
Nothing.
“Please… don’t leave us.”
She tried again.
Then—
A faint pulse.
Gertrude called for the royal staff as panic began to spread through the palace.
Something was terribly wrong with the Queen."
